1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Stylo (“Stylo”, “we”, “us”) for use of the AI-native canvas available at stylo.design and its related applications and services (the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes it. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. If you are below the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your account. Tell us promptly at hello@stylo.design if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We may require you to verify your email address or use additional security measures.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the designs, text, images, files, prompts, and other material you create or upload to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, adapt, and otherwise process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service, including to sync it across your devices, render and export it, make it available according to your sharing settings, and process prompts and context when you use AI features.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content and to grant this licence, and that Your Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights or violate the law. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

4. AI features

The Service includes AI features that generate or modify content based on your prompts and the context you provide. AI output is probabilistic. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable for your purpose, or similar to output generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing output before you rely on it, publish it, or use it commercially.

We may limit how many AI requests you can make, route requests to different models, or change or withdraw AI features. Credits and usage limits are described in the Service and these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe or scan our systems, or interfere with the Service or other users;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent, or circumvent usage limits, credits, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone product without our written consent;
  • send spam, harass others, collect personal information without consent, or impersonate any person or organisation; or
  • use AI features to generate content that is illegal, that sexualises minors, that enables harm, or that violates the rights of others.

We may remove content or suspend access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We also require you to comply with any additional usage policies that we publish for specific features.

6. Plans, credits, and payments

The Service offers free and paid plans. Payments, subscriptions, invoices, and refunds are processed by our payment provider, Bachs. By purchasing a paid plan you authorise recurring charges for the plan and interval you select until you cancel. Prices and plan features are shown at checkout and may change for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

Credits are prepaid, non-transferable, and may expire as described at purchase or in the Service. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, payments and credits are non-refundable. If your subscription ends or is cancelled, you keep access to paid features through the end of the current billing period, and then move to the free plan. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

7. Third-party services and assets

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google sign-in, Wikimedia Commons image search, Photoroom background removal, AI model providers, Cloudflare storage and hosting, Render, Resend email, and Bachs payments. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Fonts, images, and other assets made available through the Service may be subject to separate licence terms. You are responsible for checking that your use of third-party assets in your work is permitted, including for commercial use.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, interface, design, and brand, is owned by Stylo and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own lawful purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of Your Content.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use creates risk or legal exposure for Stylo or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you delete your account or let it lapse. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will be available at all times, that data will never be lost, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction. The Service is a creative tool, not professional advice; do not rely on it for legal, financial, medical, or other professional decisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stylo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or USD 100.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice, such as an email or in-product message. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Stylo entity that operates the Service is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
